1. Get an emulator that enables you to activate ULAplus and save a palette as a
.TAP file after a game has started running. For example, ZXSpin 0.666.

2. Get a copy of the game you want to add the palette to in .TAP format.

3. Load the game into the emulator.

4. Enable ULAplus mode.

5. Edit the palette.

6. Save the palette as a .TAP file.

7. From the command line, combine the files:
   copy /b <palette>.tap+<game>.tap <game>_ULAplus.tap

Now you can use the combined tape to play the game with your new palette.
Even if distribution of the game is prohibited you can still distribute the
palette file. And you can use the combined .TAP file with flash-loading
  systems on real hardware.
